A fun event for the entire family! A "Fair" for a day at the Buffalo Co. Fairgrounds in Kearney, Nebraska. NEW this year, the show is in the Ag Pavilion. Stall at your trailers to the south and east of the Ag Pavilion. There will be 2 wash rack locations. (South side of Ag Pavilion and inside East Arena) There will be a Junior Show, Open Show, and a Jackpot Feeder calf show. On-site concessions included. Join us in Kearney!

Open to all exhibitors, this event features Junior, Open, and Jackpot Feeder Calf shows. With breed divisions, weight-based classes, and top-five feeder calf awards, there’s a competitive opportunity for every level.

Show Opportunities for All Ages

From Pee Wee to Senior showmanship, youth exhibitors can compete across multiple divisions including breeding heifers, market classes, and Classic entries. It’s a welcoming environment to build skills and gain ring experience.

One‑Day Fair Experience

Enjoy a full day of family-friendly fun at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds in Kearney, Nebraska. Held in the Ag Pavilion, this year’s show offers a cooler, comfortable setting with easy trailer-side stalling and on-site concessions.

The Junior Show focuses on showmanship, giving exhibitors the opportunity to demonstrate their handling and presentation skills. Participants are grouped by age to ensure fair and competitive classes for all experience levels.

Showmanship Divisions

This show highlights breeding heifers and allows exhibitors to showcase the quality and potential of their animals across recognized breed divisions. Proper registration and eligibility requirements apply, with additional opportunities to participate in special divisions.

Special Division

Classic Heifer Division (This class is for heifers purchased at Classic Sales. You can enter the breed class and the Classic Heifer Division.)

The Junior Market Show features animals raised for market, with exhibitors competing based on weight and overall quality. Participants must select a single division, with options available for both heifers and steers, including special Classic divisions.
